delivery within Australia

parcel delivery within Australia is via commercial courier for larger parcels or Australia Post for the majority of our deliveries.  all orders over $80 are shipped free unless a bulky item surcharge applies.

we do not ship large furniture or items over 2kg internationally.  if you place an order for an international delivery on a larger item we will contact you with additional delivery charges. if charges are beyond your expectation and you choose not to proceed we will refund your original order.

that online shop does not operate out of a retail shop premises so collection from our office is not available. you can call or email us to speak to a shop assistant and have your queries answered or place an order over the phone using credit card payment.  we pride ourselves on customer service and are here to make online shopping a more personal experience, so please call to speak with us - we get tired of computer screens too!

• free delivery applies to the STANDARD DELIVERY 2-5 DAYS option in the shopping cart 
• free delivery will not appear at check out until the shopping cart has reached $80 or relevant promo code has been applied.
• PERMISSION TO LEAVE unattended is at the customer's own risk.  if you can not specify a safe location please think carefully about this option as we can not take responsibility for delivered goods if they are removed before your receipt.

• dispatch is from Melbourne, usually within 24 hrs of payment receipt
• if orders are placed after Friday 2pm dispatch will be on the next business day.
• in most cases orders will be prepared as payment is received, allowing you to receive your goods within 2-5 days from time of dispatch.  
• delivery times may vary depending on size of parcel and delivery address.

•  if you will not be home during delivery times of 9-6 please note 'permission to leave' or similar delivery instructions in the comments section of the checkout process. 
• consider using a business address or neighbour's address if you'd prefer not to leave a parcel unattended or have it delivered to your local post office for pick up. 
• if your parcel can't be left in a safe place the delivery person may leave a notification card and the item will become available at your local post office for collection.  if not collected, it may be returned to thatonlineshop and any re-delivery charges will be charged to the customer.

additional shipping costs may apply to bulky items, this will be noted in the product description.  we will contact you to notify you of any additional delivery charge based on your address and the weight of the parcel.  if you are unhappy with the additonal charge we'll happily reverse your order and refund your payment.

pre order furniture may be delivered to you direct from the supplier warehouse.  we will communicate with you to ensure you are kept informed of the processing and delivery times involved.  if you are unhappy with our courier suggestions we are happy to provide all the relevant information to assist you in arranging your own pick up and delivery. we are not able to ship larger parcels and furniture internationally.  if your order is international and larger than 2kg in weight you will be contacted to pay additionally shipping costs, and the opportunity for a transaction reversal offered if the shipping costs are greater than your expectation.
